The original Elm Wildlife Tours logo was designed in-house using a simple typface. It was decided to continue with the same typeface but place a stronger emphasis on the core business which was Dunedin's unique wildlife. A series of logos were developed featuring different animals, one of which is illustrated here. Strong colours were used to silhouette the animals, creating striking, contemporary logos to be featured on vehicles, uniforms and throughout the business.

The NCLR is a partnership of research groups from all over New Zealand. It studies people, including physical health, development, relationships, families, migration and movement, and mental health. A logo was needed that emphasised the collaborative nature of the organisation; the community nature of its research; as well as the fact that it was an Otago initiative - hence the blue and gold colouration.
The OMRF is based in Dunedin and has provided Otago-based researchers with the opportunity to conduct research into a very wide variety of medical and health-related subjects. It has grown into an organisation which is able to provide significant amounts of research funding to a large number of individuals and research groups working at the University of Otago. To reflect the New Zealand/Otago/Medical nature of its direction a medical cross intersected with a koru was used to form the foundation of the Foundation's new logo.

Gold was chosen as the primary colour for the new brand that would be introduced over time, symbolising good fortune and achievement.
The Physis Institute is a specialised psychotherapy clinic in Dunedin. The word Physis appeared in ancient Greece and it designates that which blooms, opens or emerges by itself. The sky and the land, the stone, the animal and the human beings and the gods belong to Physis. It also signifies the three states of the ego that we experience ego: the parent, child, and self within us. To illustrate these principles the stack of circular discs was designed, and enhanced in 3D application, to create a logo symbolising Physis and the business as a sanctuary of growth, strength and unity.
